OUR STORY

Catalina was elected Village Trustee in 2019, for a 2-year unexpired term, and once more in 2021 for a 4-year term. She was endorsed by Chicago Federation of Labor and by the Mt. Greenwood Express Newspaper. Currently, Catalina holds the positions of Chairperson for both the Economic Development Committee and the Water & Sewer Committee on the Alsip Village Board.

Catalina established BRAVA Strategies, LLC in 2019, leveraging her expertise to support the growth of non-profit organizations and small businesses. Her efforts have been focused on expanding and improving service delivery, optimizing internal operations, and providing valuable assistance in client relationship management.

Catalina holds a B.A. in Economics, a Master's in Urban Planning and Policy (MUPP) with a concentration in Economic Development, and a Certificate in Geospatial Analysis & Visualization, all earned from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Additionally, she is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group.

Beyond her civic dedication, Catalina finds joy in family moments, treasuring camping trips and attending sporting events with her husband and their two children.
